It’s “Very plain now the Indian Medical Association (IMA)will follow in the footsteps of Mengele & German physicians of Nazi Germany.”

Extraordinary footage of huge protests in Kashmir: that telecommunications blockade goes both ways. They don’t want Kashmiris to know about the emergent #StandWithKashmir movement & they don’t want us to know that Kashmiri resistance remains undaunted.

We can see how desperate India is in their propaganda war when they have top government officials lobbying Twitter to suspend Kashmiri supporters, when their doctors & veterinarians write letters to The Lancet objecting to its coverage of health problems caused by the occupation, when their Hindutva troll brigades are making asses of themselves all over social media. It is Kashmiris who are winning the battle of #azaadi against colonial propaganda.

Kenneth Roth, the Executive Director of Human Rights Watch, tweeted: “If India wants to avoid international attention to Kashmir, it should respect international human rights standards there.” How hard-hitting can a leading human rights figure get!? It’s pathetic & wimpy in its inanity when you consider that India has the whole of Kashmir locked down incommunicado for now two weeks with no end in sight & is engaged in indiscriminate shooting of unarmed civilians.

Any self-respecting human rights champion without questionable associations to power would demand forcefully & without equivocation that India immediately, unconditionally withdraw all its troops & immediately release all Kashmiri political prisoners, & then would proceed to demand an accounting for the nearly 10,000 forcibly disappeared, reparations for the homes vandalized & razed, & reparations to the thousands tortured, raped, brutalized, murdered.
