Retired Indian Supreme Court justice Markandey Katju, an elitist who once said ’90-percent of Indians are idiots’, has a peculiar way of expressing his support for Kashmiris. Maybe insidious is a better word to describe his pronouncements about Kashmir. Those knowledgeable about the Kashmiri Pandit issue with a strong stomach for debating knuckleheads might want to look at his post today about the issue & set his readers straight.

Just in case you missed the news, a study by the Committee to Protect Journalists found Twitter was acceding to Indian government demands for censorship by closing accounts & removing up to one million tweets related to Kashmir.

Would the Oxford Union have invited Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels to debate the holocaust like it invited BJP leader & Indian propagandist Jay Panda to debate Kashmir? Did Hitler receive as many human rights honorifics as Modi & Suu Kyi? When in modern politics did tragedy become indistinguishable from farce?
