I am not vainglorious about the number of likes & shares I get on my posts. Politics is about justice, not popularity. But I am heartened that my post about the little Syrian girl who froze to death when her dad carried her for medical care has been thus far liked 520 times & shared 337 times. It is imperative that the cries of Syrian children be heard over the howling of Assad propagandists who sing for their supper or are just profoundly corrupt.
Those who have fallen for Assadist propaganda might come to their senses if they read some of the analyses written by Syrians & other journalists on the character of the Assad dictatorship, the Syrian Arab Spring & the counterrevolution against it. Syrian voices must be allowed to speak for themselves rather than be usurped by paid propagandists who by their very political nature suck up to oppressive state power. Global Research, Grayzone, & Mint Press are propaganda sheets & do not constitute research about the Arab Spring which they have always opposed.
When socialist grouplets justified their support for counterrevolution, one sent me an article supporting Russian military intervention, others told me the US antiwar movement is concerned only with US militarism, & another sent me a long piece filled with maps & quotes from Lenin that had nothing to do with the situation in Syria. Out of several pages of his defense for counterrevolution, no journalistic accounts & scholarship about Syria were once mentioned except for the very last sentence which said, ‘Syria is a nation-state; therefore we defend it against US imperialism’. Was there ever greater evidence of theoretical & political corruption than drawing analysis from scripture rather than from the realities of social struggle against a police state!?
A Kashmiri friend reports it took him thirty hours to break the VPN firewall imposed on Kashmir. Indian so-called democracy stands shamed before the world & is outsmarted again by Kashmiri determination.
The counterrevolution against the Syrian Arab Spring is a Palestinian issue because of the millions of Palestinian refugees in Syria–many of whom have been tortured & killed in prison for opposing the Assad dictatorship, many who have been displaced by bombing but are refused entry to Jordan & Turkey & are now living with & without shelter of any kind in sub-zero temperatures. The future of all the Arab Spring uprisings are directly linked to the freedom of Palestinians.
On the humanitarian crisis of apocalyptic proportions caused by Syrian & Russian scorched earth bombing of Idlib & Aleppo.

For those who do not know, Shah Faesal is a collaborator attempting to reinvent himself as a leader of the Kashmiri freedom struggle. He was recently arrested under the Public Safety Act (PSA) which allows indefinite detention without charges–an ‘illegal law’ used to detain thousands of Kashmiris. No one approves India’s detentions of any Kashmiris, but this arrest may be more like the detention of collaborators Omar Abdullah & Mehbooba Mufti (in luxury suites, not the Indian gulag) in order to reinvent them as political prisoners & leaders of the freedom struggle. It is Kashmiris, rid of Indian colonialism & occupation, who should prosecute & detain these collaborators for their monstrous crimes against Kashmiri men, women, & children.
