A father thrown between bouts of wailing for the death of his daughter and pure silent shock. What is left of her body, her torso, head and one arm, is lying in front of him in what remains of their home. She couldn’t have been more than 6 years old.

Another father rushed into an ambulance, bleeding from his nose and mouth while trying to recite the Shahada, his declaration of faith, anticipating death. His child is screaming at him in the background begging him to stay with them. “For God’s sake, don’t leave baba!” repeated almost nonstop while they rush him to a makeshift hospital.

A family loses their young angel of a daughter while fleeing their home. They lost sight of each other and the 4 year old could not find her parents in the chaos, madness and darkness of the cold night. She was found 4 days later, starved and alone. She died on her own, a sweet face that has never known anything but the madness of a dictator commanding rivers of refugees dying of thirst, fear, hunger while their blood continues to feed the soil of his kingdom of horrors.

I spare you the images. Let them rest with whatever dignity is left in their torn lives. Words are enough.”

The diplomats who went there remind one of freeloading US politicians who take corporate-sponsored golf & boozing vacations. They got wined & dined, their silence was bought, & their reputations are crap now. You lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas.

Trump tweeted a warning to the leaders of Iran not to kill & imprison its protesters. This would be another good time to remind him that #BlackLivesMatter & to release the thousands of Black & Latino kids in prison with long sentences for minor offenses like smoking a joint & to talk about those concentration camps for refugees.

Tulsi Gabbard has a huge following on social media, including by weasel-brains who claim they oppose the occupation of Kashmir. In principled politics, you can’t have it both ways. You can’t play both sides of the street when it comes to war, occupation, genocide.

Thousands attended a demonstration yesterday in Hamburg, Germany in solidarity with Uyghur Muslims.

The Middle East Monitor has an article titled “Over 700,000 Syrians displaced from Idlib in eight months”. The article states that the displacement is caused by ‘fighting between regime forces & opposition groups’ when Syria & Russia are bombing civilian homes, markets, schools, hospitals, mosques, farm fields. There are terrorist groups in the field, many of them fighting against the Syrian Arab Spring. If terrorists were being targeted, wouldn’t you think there’d be some reports about casualties among them instead of massive deaths, injuries, & displacement of civilians? An article expressing such ambiguities isn’t worth a whole damn lot.
