Indian media reports that “violent clashes” broke out all over Kashmir during the visit of the EU stooges. Since Kashmiris are completely unarmed, we know the violence was entirely one-sided. We could not be prouder or more confident in the Kashmiri struggle for such undaunted defiance of the murderous occupation.

A cogent analysis by Sultan Magami on the killing of non-Kashmiri truckers & day laborers in Kashmir which the Indian Army is blaming on terrorists:

“Just like the murder of the non-Kashmiri truck drivers who conveniently turned out to be Muslims, it wouldn’t surprise me if the five Bengali laborers killed today in Kashmir also turn out to be Muslim. They hail from a village called Murshidabad so the chances are they’re most likely Muslim. This just goes to prove the depravity of the Indian sponsored anti-Muslim agents at work in Kashmir today – most likely RSS linked terrorists, aided and abetted by Indian intelligence agencies, hell bent on portraying the Kashmiri freedom struggle as terrorism.

Regardless of the religion of the victims, such killings are abhorrent. At no time in the history of the Kashmiri freedom struggle have the mostly Hindu non-Kashmiri laborers, workers or tourists been harmed in any way. In fact, Kashmiris for some reason prefer non-Kashmiri laborers and workers and treat them with kindness and respect.

The timing of the terrorist act also placates enemies of the Kashmiri freedom struggle as the eyes of the world are on Kashmir during the visit of the European Nazis to the Valley.

All Kashmiris have unanimously condemned these terrorist acts and I have not come across a single “..oh but the Indian military does worse” argument. Every comment I have read outrightly condemned this abhorrent terrorist act. And the Indian agencies are not fooling anyone to claim that these are the act of either Kashmiri militants or the so called “Pakistani sponsored terrorist”. This is the act of RSS thugs operating in Kashmir at the behest of the Modi regime.

For some Hindu fanatic who kills an innocent Muslim in India for eating beef, how hard is it for them to travel to Kashmir and kill other non-Kashmiri Muslim laborers and paint it as the work of Kashmiri militants. Kill two birds with one stone.”

A nationalist confronted with the photo of the Indian soldiers vandalizing the motorcycles of Kashmiri students insisted they were beating rocks on the ground, not vandalizing the bikes. Now I ask you, do you feel hatred for that kind of bone-headed idiocy or do you just feel sorry for him since intellectually he’s not much smarter than a rock?

Another Kashmiri friend’s Facebook account has been deleted with the message that his account ‘requires verification.” A multitude of free speech violations are covered by the verification & community standards rubrics.

It must have been so much fun for rightwing members of the European Parliament to have an all-expense paid vacation to beautiful Kashmir which they could write off as fighting the ‘war on terror’. Since they were there as guests of the Indian government, they could put aside the unpleasantries of interviewing mothers whose small sons were abducted by the Indian Army & sent to hell hole prisons in India to mix with adult criminal prisoners; they could avoid talking to young people blinded, disabled, disfigured by pellet munitions; they would be spared visiting the torture centers where the Indian Army uses sexualized violence & CIA kinds of torture on political prisoners. Instead they could share lavish meals in posh hotels with Indian Army officials & collaborators & take a scenic shikara ride on Dal Lake in Srinagar. The Indian Army stopped traffic & found a deserted stretch of the lake where the EU delegates would have no contact with the plebeian elements of Kashmiri society who might want to talk about the curfews, mass arrests, sexual violence, pellet guns, telecommunications blackout.

All the delegates had to do in return for a free sightseeing tour of beautiful Kashmir was, as Sheikh Sajjad put it, “endorse genocide & extend support for illegal occupation”. We sure hope that shikara spin was a hell of a ride because media refers to it as the “disaster on Dal Lake”. The EU delegates exposed themselves as Muslim-haters, genocide deniers, bought, for sale, on the take for the Modi regime in its attempts to whitewash genocide. International ignominy, disgrace, & ridicule is a heavy price to pay for a boat ride & a few free meals. It also didn’t win them many friends in high places since the ideology & mythology of the Islamophobic ‘war on terror’ has been jeopardized by this pack of rightwing fools who jumped at the chance of a free trip & didn’t respect the pernicious subtleties required to vilify entire nations as terrorists. The mediocrity & venality of fascism have never been more exposed.
