It appears Kashmiri activist Jaina Maina may have been deleted from Facebooksince her page is no longer visible. She is being punished for the misogyny, Muslim-hating, & fascist nationalism of Hindutvawadis whose aggressive trolling apparently do not violate Facebook community standards?

The use of sexualized violence in war & genocide includes women, girls, men, & boys. It is not a case of ‘troops gone wild’ but an orchestrated weapon of war to humiliate, demoralize, & break the spirit of resistance.
Beside the human rights & child welfare criminality of sending children to jail, there is the issue of conditions in Uttar Pradesh prisons & especially if Kashmiri child political prisoners are separated from the adult criminal population, many of whom may be nationalist, so they cannot be harmed. There are 66 prisons in Uttar Pradesh with a capacity for 8,428 prisoners but which house 48,970 prisoners. There is no available information on the conditions of bathrooms, food facilities, or healthcare. We can safely assume that monitoring the safety of the thousands of Kashmiri kids in these prisons is not a priority for Indian prison officials or they wouldn’t have abducted them in the first place.
Demand the immediate release of all Kashmiri political prisoners & the cessation of abducting children.
Israeli snipers, otherwise known as ‘long distance serial killers’, shot 43 Palestinian children in Gaza at the Great Return March last Friday. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority continues its relationship with India, Mahmoud Abbas with Modi. Palestinian solidarity is in a crisis because of association among its leading figures with Assadism & Stalinism & these young people are left undefended against genocide. Kashmiri solidarity will strengthen both struggles by extending unity in action & incorporating defense of Palestinian Intifada with that of Kashmiri Intifada since solidarity has always been a feature of the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination.
Greta Berlin is a long-time supporter of the Assad regime, of Syrian & Russian bombing of civilians, & an associate of fascist & Assad propagandist Eva Bartlett. She is presently on a tour of Syria, likely guided by Assad minions, to discredit the Syrian Arab Spring & prove how popular bombing civilians is in the name of the Islamophobic ‘war on terror’. Unfortunately, several of my friends don’t object to her political views but I keep at least six degrees of separation from her Islamophobic & anti-Semitic politics. The suffering of the Syrian people, including Palestinian refugees in Syria, is so extreme that continued affiliation with Assad ideologues & their followers is not tolerable to me. Those friends of mine who approved of her propaganda tour have been unfriended.

Amnesia
I remember it like my prostate cancer;

This may be insane but it is how the Indian government misrepresents fatality statistics caused by its siege & blockade. In many ways, it’s like US Pentagon policy that does not account for the deaths of civilians killed in its many wars. It’s a way of ‘disappearing’ those killed by war, occupation, genocide.

Tomorrow, Indian officials will be taking a delegation of 28 European Parliament members drawn mainly from extreme far right parties for a one-day tour of Kashmir. It is not an official EU visit but is at the invitation of an unidentified NGO backed by the Indian government. The group met with Modi today where he discussed the need to take action against terrorism in Kashmir. Indian media reports suggest that the delegation will ‘debunk propaganda by Pakistan that there is a humanitarian crisis in Kashmir’.
This tour is reminiscent of the several European fascist delegations often received by Assad. Or is it more like the tours of American schoolchildren before the Civil Rights Movement who took bus tours around Indian reservations to stare at the Indians like they were monkeys in the zoo?
Demand the immediate, unconditional withdrawal of all Indian troops from Kashmir.
