The FBI & Department of Homeland Security issued a joint communique last night warning of possible ISIS attacks against the US military “inside the homeland” & told soldiers to scrub their social media accounts of anything that would attract attention. They claim ISIS & its supporters are stalking social media looking for military to take out. Do they know that from their own snooping all over FB? Or are they just inventing enemies again as they’re prone to do?

On the surface this stuff is hilarious but it’s the kind of crap that flew in the McCarthy era to justify extreme political repression of civil liberties. That’s what they’re trying to orchestrate now: paranoia, xenophobia, Islamophobia, war mongering, racism to justify scrubbing the Bill of Rights & bringing on the terror.

We have some work to do to drive this campaign back.
