“They think banning internet will subdue our resistance. In 90’s there were not even cellphones, only few people had landlines. Even during the popular uprising of 2008, hardly anybody used internet. In 2010 I didn’t even have a single friend on facebook who was from Kashmir. Internet provides us of the information, lack of it will never cause us to doubt ourselves. Freedom struggles triumphed over the occupation when there were not even telegrams and post offices around the world, how can the lack of internet cause us to forget our history?. They can hide as much as they want but they can never delete what we are. We stand unarmed with knowledge and love and still they fear even the dead they hold hostage. It’s the might of our ideas that bears no expiration. They are immortal.”
