I know this isn’t the appropriate time to say this, but omg you Kashmiri men are handsome. Now back to politics from day dreaming.
Several old duffers from 1960s activism are writing post-apocalyptic treatises that sound more like a last hurrah in case they get carried off by the coronavirus. We all have anxiety but enough with the sermonizing & the pointless, narcissistic self-indulgence. There are millions of refugees, political prisoners, homeless, elderly, & occupied nations who require our political attention now, not in after coronavirus times.
Conspiracy whack-job Pepe Escobar speculates that the coronavirus epidemic could be a “massive psy-op” to create “the perfect geopolitlcal & social engineering environment for full-spectrum dominance”. Wow, isn’t that alarming! But isn’t Escobar the same guy who once asked if the CIA made Mt. Etna erupt to assassinate Berlusconi? How can we tell when conspiracy thinking ends & farce begins?
Can occupying armies be carriers of the coronavirus? Ask Egypt’s General el-Sisi who is in quarantine after meeting with one of two army generals who died from coronavirus.

Yesterday, the Assad regime reported Syria’s first official coronavirus case, a young woman who had traveled from the UK. Maybe now it will take coronavirus protocol seriously & prevent propagandists like Eva Bartlett from crossing the border & traveling around freely without screening. Iran has the highest reported number of coronavirus cases & deaths outside China, including the recent death of an Iranian general from coronavirus. But the Assad regime allows Iran to operate civilian flights of Shi’ite pilgrims from Iran to Damascus & continue to operate military flights carrying militia fighters to deploy in Syria’s war against the Syrian revolution. Iranian militia fighters also enter Syria using border crossings with Iraq. Whilst many demand the US end sanctions against Iran that might impact healthcare in this epidemic, it is also necessary to demand that Iran stop sending fighters to Syria who have probably not been screened for coronavirus. The counterrevolution endangers Iraqis & Syrians, especially the refugee population who have no medical care.

Just over a week ago, Ron Paul wrote that the coronavirus epidemic was a ‘big hoax’. Yesterday, his son Senator Rand Paul tested positive for the virus. Don’t mess with karma.

Instead of collaborating to address the coronavirus epidemic, governments are ratcheting up their surveillance systems under the guise of monitoring the spread of the virus.

“180 Palestinian children in Israeli jails are held in poor conditions including overcrowded prison cells and limited access to resources to maintain minimum hygiene practices. We call for their immediate release in light of the rapid spread of #Coronavirus (#COVID_19).”
