Among his writings are denials of the 2012 Sandy Hook school shootings; claims the 2015 Charlie Hebdo attacks in Paris were a US operation; claims the 2016 Orlando attack were a false flag operation; claims WWIII has begun, the Bill of Rights has been overthrown, & the US is ruled by a gestapo; that the anti-Trump protesters are “tools of the oligarchy” manipulated by George Soros; that progressives find ‘white trash’ more threatening than nuclear war.

Roberts is a supporter of Putin, a supporter of the Assad dictatorship & of Russian carpet bombing of civilians in Syria. In October, an article he wrote titled “The Real Humanitarian Crisis Is Not Aleppo” is still being circulated widely by progressives. Prominent activists Cindy Sheehan, Cynthia McKinney, & Colleen Rowley share & promote the view he expresses in this article & only oppose US intervention in Syria. All three have promoted his writings & shared platforms with him. Are they unaware of his racist, white supremacist, Islamophobic, anti-Semitic views? Surely they were offended by his ugly misogynist reference in the article to Clinton as “the killer bitch Hillary.”

Roberts is a committed campaigner for Trump. He’s jubilant about the election, calling it a victory for the working class. As youth, including working class youth most affected by the fascistic threats of Trump protest the elections, Roberts & his intellectual minions denounce them as manipulated by nefarious forces.

Do yourself a favor. Before you post the false flag rubbish & racism of Paul Craig Roberts, check out what he stands for, so clearly expressed in his articles. If you still agree with him, do me a favor & unfriend me.

People are allowed crackpot notions in a democratic country–though obscurantism & crazy-pants crap best serve autocracy. They’re allowed those theories & free to peddle them but they have to expect to come under the harshest criticism by those who detest elitist & boogie-man theories of history.

When you claim, as Global Research & other libertarians do, that the 2011 Arab uprisings against dictatorship, involving millions of people in several countries, were staged events, you have to expect to be ridiculed, excoriated, denounced as intellectual buffoons. Or do you have an explanation for how nefarious operatives recruited & payed millions of people to protest, get arrested, beaten, tortured, murdered, disappeared?

When you claim thousands of young people protesting Trump’s election–because they are directly affected & scared by his campaign threats–are paid or manipulated by Clinton forces to reverse the election, you make asses of yourself & cannot be taken seriously as political thinkers.

We’re living in a period of crisis, the barbaric phase of capitalism, & we need to work together against war & social hatreds of every kind. We need to build solidarity with those who are under siege. It’s very hard to do that when people who don’t have all their marbles are trying to divide us with stories about the boogie-man.

Skeptics will question this story with their always tedious & scrupulous demands for proof. The social media community that follows Global Research & Pepe Escobar, hanging on their every conspiracy & crackpot theory, will denounce this story because it conflicts with their new campaign claiming the anti-Trump protests are orchestrated by George Soros to unseat Trump, the candidate of choice for libertarians & other crackpots.

There are however compelling circumstantial factors pointing to the veracity of the story. Trump’s adopted mother was from Scotland. Scotland is not that far from London. And of course there is that head of hair which for so long we thought was bleached. That’s proof enough for Global Research & it should be good enough for the rest of us.

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, referring to Dawood by his American name, congratulated Trump on his “historic” electoral victory, saying it “is indeed the triumph of the American people & their enduring faith in the ideals of democracy, freedom, human rights & free enterprise.” He was just buttering Trump up (who identifies with none of those ideals; nor do those who elected him) to get more military aid out of him. But of course, Nawaz & Dawood may even be cousins.
