After the fall of Mosul they’re talking about the break-up & complete destruction of Iraq. Anyone still think a US-imposed No Fly Zone a good idea in Syria? White phosphorous & carpet bombing of civilians as the weapons of liberation?
Just so Assadists know, it’s all over for Assad even if the revolution against his dictatorship is defeated. The victorious counter-revolution in Syria (involving Syria, Russia, the US, Iran, Hezbollah, Saudi Arabia, & others) will look just like the carnage in Iraq.
The only principled antiwar demands are for the immediate cessation of bombing civilians & the immediate, unconditional withdrawal of all US, Russian, & other foreign military forces.
