A study by the Johns Hopkins Center for Humanitarian Health estimates a large-scale coronavirus outbreak in Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh that would lead to tens of thousands of deaths since they are poorly nourished, live in overcrowded conditions, have post-traumatic syndrome from genocide, have little access to clean water & sanitation. The Bangladeshi government continues to deny them access to the internet so they can understand coronavirus protocols. Can anyone explain an operative distinction between genocide & ‘culling the herd’ being practiced toward refugees around the world?
