India’s jejune propaganda for the siege & lockdown of Kashmir does not reflect the degree of planning in making Kashmir a Hindu colony. Expropriation & exploitation of natural resources, deforestation, & now using the ‘Israel model’, allowing Hindutva settlers to buy expropriated property & move in. This requires massive international opposition, including educational campaigns, protests, a boycott of Indian products. They’re moving fast because what they accomplish will be harder to reverse. The lockdown & military aggression is to demoralize, disable, incarcerate, repress the opposition they know Kashmiris will express. Solidarity has never been more imperative.
