Today on the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances 2019, we remember the thousands of persons who have disappeared without our knowledge of what happened to them in Kashmir, and the bereaved who suffer in their absence.Rafto Laureates 2017 Parveena Ahangar and Parvez Imroz have bravely and patiently worked to document their fates, and hold persons who might be responsible for it accountable.They are now silenced, and barred from traveling to serve their fellow citizens and tell the world, by Indian guns.
