Saiful Rohin reports on the initiative of 50 organizations demanding Sheikh Hasina & the Bangladeshi government end its internet & other restrictions on Rohingya refugees because of the coronavirus crisis.
“#CRDI is one of the 50 organizations calling on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to lift internet shutdown, halt fencing around the refugee camps and ensure the safety and security of both refugees and local community during this COVID-19 (pandemic) response.
Thank you John H. Quinley III and team who work hard to make it happened.”

Thank you for your prayers & messages. They were a lovely thing to come back to. I did learn from the doc that I have a 40% hearing loss, a deviated septum, and no coronavirus so I’m good to go. But my yodeling Ave Maria in e-major has been seriously affected by the illness, which gives the neighbors no end of glee. If I missed anything of importance, please let me know so I can catch up. Thank you for your kindness and friendship.

So beautiful. Another work by Rollie Mukherjee.
Title _”Which way to go” did for a Bengali book by Swati Moitra published 2018 @People’s study circle .
I got hit with a change of season cold/flu thingy & have been laid up in bed. Of course my mind leapt to coronavirus but the ER doc didn’t even check for it saying it was allergies. Maybe. Today, I see a specialist for long-time respiratory issues from living in a house with mold toxicity. If I come out of this still able to yodel the national anthem in G-minor, I’ll be grateful.
“When rulers impose an unmindful urgent lockdown, without creating plans for the poor, physical distancing goes for a toss. Economic migrants trying miserably to go back to their villages from big Indian cities. Let us pray that these most vulnerable people stay safe.”
