Had a Facebook friend who posted a tweet from Vanessa Beeley, Assad’s own Leni Riefenstahl, which said “White Helmets used dead children for war porn videos.” She referenced the Russian foreign ministry, a particularly repulsive Assad official, Swedish doctors, including a guy fired by the health ministry for diagnoses outside the norms of medicine, & a guy who says “Young kids are being covered with dust in order to be presented as victims of bombings.”
Been around a long time in politics. Doesn’t make me right on anything except one: if the targets of your political campaigns are children & rescue workers, if you use language like “dead children” & “war porn” in the same sentence, if your politics are based on hate, you are drawing on the dregs of desperation.
