Israeli snipers injured 70 Palestinians at the Great Return March yesterday. For several reasons there is a lull in Palestinian solidarity actions at a time when they are sustaining outright genocide in Gaza & mass expropriations in the West Bank. We can forge unity in action with Kashmiri solidarity which will significantly strengthen both struggles.
One Kashmiri tweeted that after two months of the telecommunications blockade his aunt traveled from the US to Kashmir to check on her parents. They had both died nearly a month earlier.
Demand the immediate, unconditional withdrawal of all Indian troops & the immediate restoration of all telecommunications services.

It has been 75 days since entire population in Kashmir has been shut. It was only after 69 days that even basic mobile communication was restored partially. Let’s tape our mouth today, that is 75 days of blackout by gathering at one place or do it individually.

There have been many articles written on how Kashmiris are using mass civil disobedience to counter the siege & blockade whilst Hindutva propagandists keep blithering about the threat of ‘radical Islamic terrorism’ & Pakistan infiltrating Afghan terrorists into Kashmir. Using Gandhi’s methods against the occupation is a brilliant strategy on the part of Kashmiris but I have yet to see insightful analyses of it though I know they must exist. Anyone have links to such analyses?
