The suicide bomb attack in Manchester was a monstrous act which only a deranged mind could believe would serve to even the score for victims of Britain’s war crimes. It will only make things worse for millions of people & serve to justify the Islamophobic rampage political leaders are whipping up.

Theresa May, waxing hypocritical, said the suicide bomb was a “callous attack carried out with cold calculation” to cause “maximum carnage” & Betty Windsor condemned the “act of barbarity.” Exactly what Afghans, Syrians, Iraqis, Yemenis, Libyans, not to mention Bahrainis, have been saying for decades about British bombing of civilians in their countries.

Media immediately assumed the suicide bomber was a Muslim or Arab & brought on experts (so-called) to denounce “jihadi extremism.” The campaign to end individual acts of terrorism begins with demanding the end of militarism & the immediate, unconditional withdrawal of all foreign military forces from the Middle East, Africa, & South Asia. No to war. No to occupation.
