That this tribute is belatedly shared does not make it a whit less powerful. It is by Khurram Parvez, a human rights activist in Kashmir:

“On father’s day, let us pay tributes to all those fathers who shouldered the coffins of their children – those who bore the brunt of enforced disappearances of their children – those who were tortured & humiliated for protecting their families – those who sacrificed their everything for the happiness of their children & those who in their struggles were killed or disappeared.”
