This article asks whether Davinder Singh was an agent provocateur working for India or playing both sides of the street by also collaborating with militants. It would be naive to think that militants weren’t also riddled with agents provocateurs or, like Afzal Guru, tortured into compliance. Whatever the actual nature of his police role, Singh is responsible for framing & getting Afzal Guru hanged for the 2001 bombing of the Indian Parliament.
