“Why do killings of Muslims outside Kashmir evoke more broad-based sympathy than far worse that has always been the lot of the Kashmiri Muslim under Indian rule? The answer lies in the success of ‘war on terror’ propaganda under pre-Modi ‘secular’ India, which sold to the Indian masses the maliciously fraudulent story that a so-called secular, democratic republic has been fighting against Islamic fundamentalist secessionism sponsored by Pakistan in Kashmir. Fascism will not be defeated so long as the ideology of ‘war on terror’ has not being vanquished — i.e. so long as people deny solidarity and support to other peoples, and encourage their colonial tormentors, by condemning their freedom fighters as terrorists.
#FreeKashmir to #SmashFascism. There is no other way.”
