Many of us came to admire & respect Khalsa Aid, a Sikh humanitarian aid group, when they set up food stations for Rohingya refugees at Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh in 2017. There are a lot of photos of them cooking & serving food. Now we hear that Khalsa Aid provided an ambulance to the family of Aashiq Hussain, a Kashmiri killed in a road accident in India, so they could transport him home for burial. In the midst of all this misery, they are a source of pride in our humanity.
