Because colonialism, apartheid, & genocide against Palestinians is central to Zionism, the struggle against its every manifestation is deadly serious. That struggle is not advanced one iota, nor are Palestinians served one iota, by those who see Zionist conspirators behind everything they disagree with. How does seeing Zionists as the plotters behind 9/11, in control of world media & international banking, behind the movement for women’s rights, orchestrating the Arab Spring uprisings, motivating US-coalition intervention in Syria differ from Hitler’s assertion that Jewish bankers run the world?
Today, the cusp of transition from populism to fascism, the emboldenment of fascists around the world is rooted in hatred for Muslims & hatred for Jews that is rooted in racism, white supremacy, orientalism, militarism, colonialism. If you want to understand its political trajectory, studying the emergence of national socialism/fascism in Germany is a good place to start. It is also a clarion call to reject Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, & ‘war on terror’ ideology that has weakened where it has not outright destroyed the progressive movement
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei encourages Iranians (with emphasis on coercion) to resist feminist ideas, claiming gender equality is a “Zionist plot” to corrupt the primary role of women in society as housewives & mothers. That deadly combination of anti-Semitism & misogyny explains police brutality against women & girls for such offenses as wearing ripped jeans, fatwas against females cycling in public, & incarceration for refusing to wear the hijab. (How that differs from Saudi Arabia is hard to distinguish.) It also explains discrimination toward Jews, which includes the government appointing Muslims as heads of Jewish schools & the annual Iranian conference of fascists & anti-Semites, which has brought the number of Jews in Iran from 35,000 to 8,756 just in the past 25 years.
Vida Movahed is a 31-year-old Iranian activist who initiated anti-compulsory hijab protests (called The Girls of Revolution Street protests) in February last year when she removed her headscarf & brandished it on a stick. For doing so, she was recently sentenced to one year in prison on charges of “encouraging corruption & prostitution to the public.” Human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh has been sentenced to 38 years & 148 lashes for advocating the right of women not to wear the hijab.
A regime is not measured by its antagonistic relationship to the US but by its antagonistic relationship to its own citizens.

This is what a gun-battle leaves behind in Kashmir, a video by Basharat Amin, shows how Indian occupying forces demolish & vandalize family homes in their hunt to kill operations. There is no military need to destroy homes. The intent is to terrorize & wage psychological warfare against Kashmiris.
Russian militias backed by Syrian & Russian bombers have increased bombardment of civilian communities in Idlib, Hama, & Aleppo. Syria is reportedly using cluster bombs which release hundreds of explosives & are banned by 102 countries because they indiscriminately harm civilians. The US & Russia also use them.
Demand the immediate cessation of bombing & the immediate, unconditional withdrawal of all foreign military forces from Syria.

Israel is holding nearly 6,500 Palestinian political prisoners, 1,500 of whom have health issues, 400 are under the age of 18, 450 are detained without charge or trial.
The Amnesty report on US-coalition bombing of Raqqa, Syria, called by some the ‘most destroyed city in modern times’. Although how they can distinguish a difference between the carnage of US bombing in Raqqa & that in Mosul, Iraq is not explained. Those who call for a ‘humanitarian’ US bombing campaign in Syria are delusional war mongers.
