The Saudis really know how to play a narcissist like a fiddle.Their historic contribution to diplomacy will be the extravaganza that made Trump feel like a man again even when that ass was doing the curtsey & acting like the Pillsbury Dough Boy at the prom.

Arab people have been trying to “drive them out” since 2011 revolutions

Trump’s homiletic to “Drive them out” is something the Arab peoples have been trying to do since 2011 with the monumental Arab uprisings. Trump & those gathered in Riyadh represent the alliance of forces that reversed those uprisings & are now trying to repress or bomb them to smithereens.

Defeats take time to recover from in conditions of repression as in Egypt & Bahrain & of carpet bombing as in Syria & Yemen. But if there was no opposition, there would be no repression, gulags, or bombing. Those who’ve long since written the obituaries or mocked the aspirations of the Arab peoples can put their cynicism where the sun don’t shine.

Commentators think they’re being sophisticated & progressive when they say “Islam is a peaceful religion but it’s been hijacked by extremists.” They get paid big bucks to talk such trash.

As if Mahmoud Abbas didn’t grovel enough for Modi in India, he is sitting at the summit in Saudi Arabia listening to Trump blither about tolerance & respect–things Trump knows nothing about. How sniveling to power & traitorous to the Palestinians can Abbas get?

Trump’s trip does not fundamentally change US policy toward Saudi Arabia

Yemen May 21 2017

Trump’s trip to Saudi Arabia doesn’t appear to be more than an ostentatious dog & pony show that does not fundamentally change US policy toward the regime. The Saudis are using it to justify their murderous 2-year bombing assault of Yemen. A CNN commentator referred to it as a US proxy war but there’s nothing proxy about it. That’s a false concept. The US had been drone bombing Yemen for years under the guise of taking out Al-Qaeda before the Saudis began their bombing in March 2015 & remains directly involved as a combatant.

The US is not just directly involved in the bombing assault on Yemen but is selling the arms to Saudi Arabia to conduct the onslaught. The Obama regime sold billions in weapons to the Saudis to replenish their arsenal & offered a total of $115 billion. If the total of US military aid to the Saudis were added up since the 1990 Gulf War it would surpass, if not dwarf, the $350 billion arms deal over 10 years that Trump just signed. That doesn’t include the billions sold to the Saudis by US allies like Canada, the UK, France.

Amnesty International reported last March that since 2015 the US & UK have sent ten times the amount of arms to Saudi Arabia than humanitarian aid to Yemen. But of course. Because they are partners in a counter-revolutionary coalition to bomb the Yemen revolution to smithereens.

Rohingya kids in Malaysia denied citizen & asylum rights

Rohingya kids in Malaysia (Alexandra Radu:

Came across this wonderful photo of Rohingya kids living in Malaysia. Even if they were born in Malaysia, they have no legal status & are denied education & healthcare so the Rohingya community organizes schooling. These little ones are attending an unaccredited community school on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur.

Posting it just because they’re so beautiful.

For those concerned about the imaginary deep state soft coup against Trump, do you really think the deep state wants to take out a guy backed by the Saudi monarchy, Netanyahu, & Erdogan?

And while you’re at it, could you explain the difference between a soft coup & the regular kind?
