Accidentally came across the woman who contemptuously called me “perfumed & powdered” at a NYC feminist conference in 1970 because I wore mascara & Shalimar which was $10 a gallon then but $100 an ounce now. I still want to slap the crap out of her.

(Does that mean I can’t be trusted with the nuclear codes?)

Another psycho-killer endorses Clinton

Clinton was endorsed today by John Negroponte who has a human rights rap sheet a mile long including orchestrating death squads in Honduras. He’s a monster. What’s taking Kissinger so long to register his enthusiastic support?

For calling Clinton a “war-mongering two-bit hustler” I was chided not to use “pejoratives & name-calling.” Wouldn’t you call my epithet restrained when she’s the political choice of the most ruthless, contemptible people on earth?

An important transition is taking place in fractured socialist movement

I feel a strong sadness that so many socialists are campaigning for Stein & Baraka. Not because they haven’t endorsed my campaign–the socialist movement is so riddled with sectarianism that I never expected them to do so–but because for socialists, it is a political move to the right to prioritize expedience over principles, the parochial over international matters of war & occupation. Parochialism was a hallmark of Sanders’ campaign & is of the Stein campaign.

This isn’t the first time in US history that so many socialists abandoned internationalism for a get-rich-get-quick scheme. But it marks a transition from the exhausted old guard to the imperative need for young people still inspired by the highest ideals & not content with compromise.

The US war in Afghanistan is so unpopular that there’s a regular Lonely Hearts Club for generals deployed there. I’m bouncing their friend requests right & left & sending them to the FB block cemetery.

Do their requests annoy me? No it delights me to block their bony asses & to know that even escort services won’t have anything to do with them.

Socialists moving to right to support Stein/Baraka

Some better known socialist individuals & groups are endorsing & actively campaigning for Jill Stein & Ajamu Baraka, her running mate. This is a triumph of form over content, of sectarian factionalism over politics, of upper middle-class reform politics. It is the triumph of parochial politics over internationalism since both Stein & Baraka are so weak, if not dead wrong, on important questions like militarism, Syria, & Palestine, & silent on Kashmir.

Those who have chosen Stein & Baraka over endorsing the several socialists running are not taking anybody by surprise since sectarianism is the hallmark of their political agenda.

This is not to call them out for condemnation because it is a regrettable, even tragic, manifestation of the crisis the socialist movement sustains internationally. It explains why socialist organizations are unwilling to forge a united front around the issues of war, occupation, colonialism, immigration & every other issue.

Let it be said clearly that those who cannot overcome factional self-interests & group loyalties to stand united against so many monstrous wars have an expiration date printed on their logo. The perilous times we live in call for hammering out unity in action regardless of doctrinal differences. Nothing is more imperative, nothing doctrinal trumps the necessity of unity in opposing wars.

Doctors protest Indian army violence in Srinagar

During the murderous siege of Gaza in 2014, including the bombing of hospitals & ambulances, the role of medical personnel was extraordinary because they continued to pull the injured out of rubble & bring them for treatment whilst under aerial bombardment & despite what must have been overwhelming grief & trauma for them.

Now we see the same phenomenon in Kashmir with doctors protesting in the streets against pellet munitions which are blinding & crushing the lives of so many, including small children, & must be living hell for medical personnel to deal with.

These are photos of doctor’s protesting outside SMHS hospital in Srinagar. Our deepest respect because they must be exhausted & overwhelmed. And still they protest.

End the occupation. Stop the use of pellet guns. Self-determination for Kashmir.

Narendra Modi wants Kashmiris to accept oppression without protest

Lone Kashmiri protester (AP Photo:Dar Yasin) August 10 2016

This is the second of two photos in todays news about the Indian siege of Kashmir, now in its 33rd day. It was captioned, “Protests in Kashmir: A Kashmir Muslim protester jumps to avoid a projectile thrown at him by Indian paramilitary soldiers during a protest in Srinagar, Indian-controlled Kashmir, on Aug. 9, 2016. Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi appealed to the people of Indian-controlled Kashmir to shun violence after a month of anti-India protests & deadly violence.”

So you see? If unarmed Kashmiri protesters just accepted Indian control, then Indian soldiers would not be compelled to shoot pellet guns, live ammo, & tear gas at them, would not summarily execute young men biking back home after work, would not fill hospital wards with pellet-ridden, blind victims, would not be attacking ambulances, & would not be arresting protesters in droves. Everything in Kashmir would be hunky-dory if they just accepted tyranny.

That media twists the narrative to make the Indian army & paramilitary thugs the peacekeepers & unarmed protesters the instigators of violence is beyond grotesque. But that’s what media does as the servile valet to power.

Long live Kashmiri Intifada. End the occupation. Self-determination for Kashmir.

Mourning dead thugs

Mourning dead in India ( (AP Photo:Mukhtar Khan) Aug 10 2016

There were two photos in todays news about the Indian siege of Kashmir, now in its 33rd day. This one is captioned “Mourning the dead in India: Indian Border Security Force soldiers pay homage to their slain colleagues during a wreath-laying ceremony in the outskirts of Srinagar, Indian-controlled Kashmir, on Aug. 9, 2016. The soldiers were killed during a gun battle with suspected rebels.”

These are the paramilitary battalions trained by Israel in counter-insurgency & counter-terrorism which barely exists in Kashmir except in the feverish imaginations of nationalists. These are the guys who set up summary executions of young Kashmiri men in the name of fighting terrorism. If they were killed, it was not likely in a gun battle with imaginary terrorists but in the crossfires of their own troops attacking unarmed protesters.

It’s not that media can’t get the story straight but that they twist reality to suit the narrative of India’s right to control Kashmir.
Long live Kashmiri Intifada. End the occupation. Self-determination for Kashmir.

Protest in NY/NJ region against caste oppression

Of all the abominations in the world, the notion that some human beings are born inferior & some superior, that those deemed inferior are born to be despised & abused by others, has to be one of the most loathsome ever spawned by class society.

Finally, in this protest in the NY/NJ region, the struggle against caste oppression & degradation is becoming an international one. It follows a national tour last year of Dalit women explaining to uninformed Americans what we can do to help destroy the monstrous system of caste.

Participating in this protest & rally would be an honor & I urge all who can to drop everything to attend or to do everything they can to publicize & build it.

It’s a beautiful world we live in; every child is born with every opportunity & grace as their due. Make it your duty & honor to attend this rally to be part of making that historic mission a glorious reality.
