Former US Secretary of Defense William Cohen is being interviewed to make Trump look presidential about Russia & Syria. He still talks clenching his teeth but now looks like a gray zombie version of Christopher Walken. They’re bringing out dead people to attest for Trump. That’s how bad things have gotten.

Notice how US bombing in Syria ended the stuff about Trump’s illegal relations with Putin. Not to mention Tillerson’s financial relations with Putin. Media can’t beat to death more than one story at a time.

Pachyderm meets Betty & Phil: in a case of anthropomorphism gone wild, zoo officials at Whipsnade Zoo outside London report Donna the elephant was “thrilled” & “excited” to meet Betty & Phil Windsor yesterday. That would be the first time that anyone was thrilled to meet the flatulent Phil in his entire 95 years. Even Betty calls him her “anus horribilis.”

Trying to avoid charges of groveling or projecting their own sniveling servility on to elephants who are renowned for emotional depth, the zoo authorities claim they tracked communications in the barn & could see they were excited. It could have been Joe Schmo from Kokomo & Donna would have loved that banana. One is reminded of the famous line from Mae West, “Is that a banana in your hand…?”

In a deeply regrettable but revelatory interview with Rania Khalek & Ben Norton titled “How Kinky are Salafists,” they belittle American journalist Bilal Abdul Kareem reporting from Syria as a stand-up comedian turned journalist. There’s an advantage to that transition that doesn’t translate to Khalek & Norton’s transition from second-rate journalists to stand-up comedians doing their schtick for Assad.

You really have to listen to Khalek & Norton speak to understand their utter depravity, stupidity, cynicism. political bankruptcy, ugly & contemptuous elitism, & hatred & ignorance of Islam. For that exposure I post the link to these two morons & their equally repugnant interlocutor.

It may seem my criticisms of women Assad apologists & propagandists are overly sharp. Pentagon war-mongering & anti-Muslim policies in several countries focus on Muslim women & liberating them from Muslim men & Islam. Women Islamophobes have become key players in promoting genocide, ethnic cleansing, occupation, carpet bombing & war.

As an activist in the 1960s-1970s women’s liberation movement, I know just how rough women can play politics–as ruthlessly as any man–so I see no reason to go easy on women hate-mongers justifying war. If they dish out lies, they have to learn to take polemics. That’s how politics work.

If Russia wants to get to the bottom of that gas attack on civilians in Khan Sheikhoun to clear Assad from culpability, it would not block a UN investigation by voting no. But it will vote no because the truth may indict Russia as well as Syria.

Nearly 30 years ago, Naomi Wolf wrote a brilliant book called “The Beauty Myth” but neither her self-indulgent writings promoting “Playboy feminism” nor her political associations with the Democratic Party since then have risen above the level of tedium & compromise. To be fair, she did come to some understanding of Israeli apartheid when Israel was carpet bombing Gaza for seven weeks in 2014.

But as we see over & over again, celebrity goes to many people’s heads & they begin to act & get looked to as though they are authorities on everything from 5-star hotel accommodations to revolution & counter-revolution in Syria. Wolf doesn’t appear to have done more than five-minutes investigation about what’s going on in Syria but is wading in on the issue again after the NY Times called her out in 2014 for suggesting videos of ISIS hostages were all actors. She was at her level advising Al Gore how to act less like he had a pole stuck up his ass & should not be posting about Syria until she has spent enough time investigating so that she no longer has to post Wikipedia entries as proof.

She just posted an article from Ecowatch written by Robert Kennedy, Jr. & widely-circulated by Assadists claiming the war in Syria is “another pipeline war.” Assadists, whose investigative integrity is as shallow as Wolf’s, circulate this ignorant rubbish because it makes war in Syria all about oil & ignores the popular revolution against Assad’s dictatorship. What makes Kennedy an authority on Syria any more than he is on the murder of Martha Moxley or the Warren Commission?

Wolf really shames herself as a credible & honest investigator when she posts an entry from Wikipedia to discredit the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) who she describes (borrowing from Assadists) as “one single guy in Coventry UK who owns a clothing shop” & who “has been criticized for never sharing his raw data or methods.” Some anti-Assadists have questioned the reliability of SOHR figures on fatalities & injuries in Syria but of course the sources are within Syria & the group, whether it’s one guy in Coventry or an entire apparatus is not going to divulge that information without risking the lives of the informants. Is Wikipedia the best Wolf can do for impugning the data of SOHR?

If Wolf’s research ever rose above the level of Wikipedia, she would know that it’s an entirely unreliable source of information on any number of questions, especially Israel & Palestinians (for its dishonesty, the founder of Wikipedia has been feted & awarded big bucks by Israel), Kashmir, & the Rohingya struggle. Just for starters.

Shame on Naomi Wolf & shame on those who share her unsubstantiated rubbish. She should learn to spend time researching before she spouts her mouth off & risks becoming the Democratic Party version of Kellyanne Conway.

My intelligence goes up every time I delete a common friend with Syrian Girl, Coleen Rowley’s new BFF. If Eva Bartlett is Assad’s Ann Coulter, Vanessa Beeley his Leni Riefenstahl, & Rania Khalek is now singing for her supper, Syrian Girl is like a propaganda train wreck you just can’t take your eyes off of & yet she has thousands of followers on social media.

This is her new video titled “Trump is Hiding in a Nuclear Bunker” where she claims he is not playing golf at Mar-a-Lago as media reports but is staying close to the nuclear bunker there to get shuttled down “while maintaining an outward appearance of calm to fool the gullible masses into complacency.”

The link Syrian Girl has discovered between presidents pretending they’re golfing & starting nuclear war is a breakthrough in investigative journalism & nothing to sniff at just because this halfwit is the one who unearthed it. Whenever it’s reported Trump is golfing at Mar-a-Lago, remember to head for your own bunker or bend over & kiss your ass goodbye.

PS: It is truly regrettable that women have chosen to waste whatever talents they have on war mongering & defense of violent dictatorship, but when they do, there is no need to patronize them. If they dish out lies, they have to expect getting a sharp rebuttal.
